GeoAlliance Consultants Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based Consulting Company specializing in Civil, Structural & Geotechnical Engineering Works.
It is established by a group of registered professional engineers. Our team has many years of hands-on experience in study, analysis, design, checking, inspection and supervision of civil and geotechnical engineering works.
The company has been involved in numerous projects on MRT Stations and Tunnels, Roads and Expressway, Gas and Water Pipe Lines, Waterways, Hospitals, Airport Terminal, Sea Ports, Land Reclamation, Residential and Commercial Developments in Singapore and overseas.
Clients who have been engaging our professional services include government agencies such as Land Transport Authority (LTA), Public Utilities Board (PUB), Jurong Town Corporation (JTC), Housing & Development Board (HDB), and other international companies.
In more than one decade, the company has become one of fastest growing consulting firms in Singapore, with a technical staff strength of more than 90 from 15 countries, and completion of hundreds of projects in Singapore and Overseas.

FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Er. Niu Jianxin is a registered Specialist Professional Engineer (Geotechnical) with over 29 years of design experience in civil and geotechnical engineering in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Australia. He is also a Specialist Accredited Checker in geotechnical and underground building works in Singapore.
He has expertise in retaining wall for deep excavation, cut and cover tunnels, bored tunnels, foundations for buildings, transmission towers and offshore structures, mega port terminal, embankments, slope stability, ground improvements, dams, instrumentation and monitoring.
He has worked on many major projects, including Singapore MRT NEL Line, MRT CCL Line, MRT TEL Line, Marina Coastal Expressway, DTSS Tunnels, Ports at Tuas Finger One, Murnane Water Pipeline, Three Gorges Dam in China, City of Dreams in Macau, PUB Water Pipeline Enhancement in Malaysia, Newcastle Coal Export Terminal in Australia.

Er. Chua Chin Hiang is a professional engineer with over 16 years postgraduate experience in civil design and supervision of major infrastructure projects.
His major project experience in Singapore, Malaysia, India and Australia includes highway construction, building developments and underground mass rapid transit infrastructure works.
He has worked on many projects, including Singapore KPE Expressway, MRT CCL Line, MRT DTL, MRT TEL Line, Capitol Redevelopment, Tuas Power Station CCP5 Project, Marina Coastal Expressway C482A, Delhi Metro Corridor 1B in India, SMART tunnels, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Newcastle Coal Export Terminal 3 in Australia.

PRINCIPAL AND ACCREDITED CHECKER
Er. Tham Poh Kuan has more than 40 years of civil and structural engineering design and construction experience in Singapore. Prior to joining GeoAlliance Consultants Pte Ltd he was the Principal Partner of Tham & Wong LLP, an established civil, structural, mechanical & electrical consultant firm in Singapore. Er. Tham is a registered Professional Engineer and an Accredited Checker registered with BCA.
Some of the major projects he worked on include Singapore MRT, DTL, LTA North South Corridor, the New State Court Complex, the Star Vista multiple use buildings, the Nex Commercial Complex including bus/MRT interchange and many other residential, commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.

PROF. LEE FOOK HOU
GEOTECHNICAL CONSULTANT
Prof. Lee is currently a Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore. He obtained his PhD thesis from Cambridge University in 1985 and is instrumental in the development of the NUS Geotechnical Centrifuge. In the area of geotechnics, he has a strong interest in soil improvement, spudcan foundations and earthquake engineering. Prof. Lee was Head of the then Department of Civil Engineering from 1 Oct 2009 to 26 Sept 2010.
Prof. Lee is a registered professional Engineer (Civil) as well as Professional Engineer (Geotechnical).
He has published more than 100 papers, about 60 of which are among peer-reviewed journals. He has supervised and graduated more than 40 PhD Students and Master of Engineering students.

Dr Wong Kwong Yan is a geotechnical engineer with over 35 years of experience in civil design and supervision of major infrastructure projects across Asia.
His major project experience in Singapore and around Asia includes highway construction, bridge structures, building developments and underground mass rapid transit infrastructure works. Dr Wong’s recent involvement in Singapore projects includes the Changi Water Reclamation Plant and ION Orchard Development.
